CHAMPAGNE BARON-FUENTÉ (CHAMPAGNE)
Since the 17th century, the BARON family owned a vineyard in Charly-sur-Marne, in the west of the Champagne area. Dolorès Fuenté is the daughter of Spanish immigrants and saw the hard side of life in Spain and at her arrival in France. Gabriel Baron and Dolorès Fuenté met at the local dance hall. In 1961, at the occasion of his marriage to Dolorès, Gabriel Baron was given 1 ha of vineyards by his father. And in 1967, as a symbol of their union, Gabriel Baron and Dolorès Fuenté founded the house Baron-Fuenté.

Maison Deutz was founded by Pierre-Hubert Geldermann and William Deutz, two young entrepreneurs from Aix-la-Chapelle in 1838. Their unwavering commitment ensured that their champagnes would be soon renowned throughout Europe for their outstanding quality.
GAYDA VINEYARDS (LANGUEDOC-ROUSSIOLLON)
Situated in the foothills of the Pyrenees, surrounded by its vineyards, Domaine Gayda is a new destination in the Languedoc, 25km south west of Carcassonne, in the village of Brugairolles. Domaine Gayda has a passion for the traditional ‘cépages’ grown across the many diverse soils and climates of our vineyards situated throughout the Languedoc, giving “Provenance” to all our wines.

Jonathan Maltus, an Englishman originally from Africa, has always been a strong believer that a bottle of wine should be judged by the taste of its contents over the ‘big name’ label slapped on the front. His philosophy can be most easily described in two parts: do things differently, and do things better. Arriving in Saint-Émilion during the ‘garage period’ in the 1990s when breaking the rules of classic Bordeaux was all the rave, Jonathan soon gained a reputation for being able to produce a range of wines which stood out just as successfully for being unique as for being top quality. Now leading dynamic teams in both Bordeaux and Napa Valley, he’s more ambitious than ever and a driving force for change
